All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent referees from the conference committee boards. All submissions should be made by filling in the Abstract submission form  and email it to


For inclusion in the conference proceedings, at least one unique registration per paper or poster is required by 7 October 2016. The 1st draft of the full paper presentations (5-6 pages) and posters/art work (2-3 pages) have to be submitted by 30 September 2016. Full paper format.


Artists (not limited to those who are also speakers) working in the field of art and science are also encouraged to exhibit their art work at the exhibition which will be curated in conjunction with the conference. The conference organizers will arrange gallery space at the National Cheng Kung University, including invigilation, insurance, publicity, agreed equipment and assistance with the installation. However, artists will be responsible for the costs of shipping, production and materials. 


After the conference, selected presented papers will be invited to be submitted for publication in the International Journal of Cultural and Creative Industries (IJCCI) or the Journal of Kansei (感性學報), both of which are peer-reviewed academic journals.
